Our brand started in the Netherlands in 2017. Over the years we have grown and grown as a brand. We started our own atelier, and we introduced many new products to our customers.
Even though we were only selling our products through our website in Europe, we often got e-mails from people from the US asking if we could make an exception and buy one of our products. After the demand got higher and higher, we as a company have now launched our products in the US.
But there was one problem. Probably our most important category of products are the swim safety items, like puddle jumpers and swim vests. Safety is of the highest regard with these products, which means that all of our swim safety items are tested and made to comply with all the safety certifications.
The EU is already strict with safety certifications, which it obviously should. But when it comes to safety items the US requires a lot of tests, certifications and everything that comes with it because of its suing culture.
So now we are proud to say that we are able to comply with all safety concerns US law asks of us and that many of our products can be seen on American beaches and pools this summer. That’s why swimessentials.us is the newest addition to our online stores.
